When Abby found Jazz O’Bannion, he was her 1990 model fall guy. She wasn’t hiding from the truth. She figured she’d never be as in love with anyone as she had been with Sam back in Memphis. She had given up on ascertaining that kind of total passion for anyone. She knew it was useless. Besides Jazz had undergone a similarly nightmarish breakup earlier that year as well.
